Looking for a Renton running group? Our free group runs are an excellent opportunity to meet local runners and take a leisurely run at a more conversational pace. All abilities are welcome. We meet at The Balanced Athlete. Regular runs take place along scenic Lake Washington at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, or along the Cedar River Trail. Other perks include tips on form and speed, the chance to test drive new brands and products, and meeting up afterward at local restaurants for great food, drinks, and conversation. Weekly free group runs are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday runs range from 2 miles for beginner runners to 8 miles for those who want to log more mileage — and anywhere in between. Our Tuesday Night Run Series is a great way to get started with a group run.
Sunday Morning Run
Sunday morning runs start at 8 a.m. These runs range from 4 to 20 miles, providing great company for a half or full marathon training run.
Wednesday Morning Run
Another option for the ladies – meet here at The Balanced Athlete at 9:30 am for stretching, a 45 minute training run, and community cool down back at the shop. Please join us! This is a great way to grow as a runner while learning and sharing training tools too.
